Course Description

From C-sections to laparoscopic mysteries, abdominal scars often tell a bigger story than we realise—and not always a helpful one. This focused professional development session explores the silent disruptors that are post-surgical scars, uncovering how they can alter muscular function, limit mobility, and create long-term dysfunction if left unchecked.

You’ll walk away with more than just theory—you’ll gain practical insight into identifying, understanding, and treating abdominal scarring in a way that reconnects the body and restores optimal movement.

What you’ll learn:
  • The stats and facts: why C-sections are more common than ever
  • A layer-by-layer breakdown of a C-section (literally)
  • The “sticking” story: what happens when scars glue things they shouldn’t
  • Why some scars lead to dysfunction—and what that actually means
  • The chain reaction: how scars mess with muscular activation and compensation
