Tim is the Program Director for Physical Health at Torrens University Australia. He is an experienced health and education professional with an extensive clinical and academic background in musculoskeletal healthcare, he has worked with elite and sub-elite sporting teams in both the UK and Australia. His research now focuses on the link between physical activity and persistent pain, supporting more people to lead physically active lives. Our second presenter Codie is a Clinical Myotherapist from Brisbane Queensland, you may remember her from the MA Conference a few years ago. In addition to her clinical work at the “Habitual Health Collective”, Codie is an integral part of “The Foot Collective”, where she has been developing and facilitating in-person education sessions. Codie has developed a special interest in chronic pain management including neural conditions, which is what she is presenting for you today – Dorsal Scapula Neuropathy as a cause of persistent upper back pain, this condition is often misinterpreted as other diagnoses and will be a great listen.

This patient, who presented to our Torrens University student clinic, left a lasting impression on Liz and I hope you will understand why this was.
