Read. Watch. Learn. Improve.

This session takes you inside the financial foundations of running a sustainable clinic. We’ll start with the essentials—calculating your break-even point and creating a clear cash flow forecast—so you can see exactly what your business needs to stay viable, whether you’re working solo or leading a team. From there, we’ll explore practitioner profitability and how those numbers feed into decisions about hiring, bringing on admin support, or expanding into a new location.

You’ll learn how to model different pay scenarios using real-world assumptions like wages, super, leave, tax, room rent and commission splits, and compare how various wage structures (hourly, commission, incentive-based) impact both your team and your bottom line. Along the way, we’ll show you how to design fair and motivating pay packages, avoid common financial pitfalls, and ensure you’re paying yourself appropriately as the owner.

Every participant will also receive a simplified Cash Flow Forecast tool to test scenarios, visualise the numbers, and plan with confidence. This session is ideal for clinic owners wanting clarity on finances, practitioners stepping into leadership roles, or anyone exploring growth through hiring.

Note: This session provides general information only and not financial advice. Participants are encouraged to use the tools provided alongside tailored business or accounting advice.
